Look at the new LCD monitor from ASUS, the PG221 22? widescreen LCD. It offers a few new features, most notably a backpack 15 watt subwoofer. It’s also got a pair of 10 watt speakers, and a bevy of other goodies including a rotating 1.3 mp webcam, 3 USB ports, mic and headphone jacks, and VGA and DVI inputs. The control panel on the front has sexy touch sensitive backlit (in 5 different colors!) buttons, and you can select from five preset sound and light modes. The screen supports up to 1680×1050 native resolution, 2ms response time, 350cd/m² brightness, and 2000:1 contrast. The pricing and availability in retail stores is not available yet.
