The new Compaq Presario B1200 has been unveiled by Compaq. The B1200has three models to choose from, all with a 12.-inch widescreen display. It is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo and running Windows Vista as its main OS. It also features a Multi 8X DVD±RW with double layer support, it uses Intel GMA X3100 graphic cards for watching your favourite videos. The notebook can run up to 7 hours and 50 minutes on a single charge with its optional 8 cell battery. In total the notebook weighs only 1.72kg which makes it ultra portable. Suggested price will be around $2,199 (AU).

i just recently picked up one of these, they are a nice little unit - however the unit could be a fraction smaller as the 12″ screen has a 1″ border around it - making the laptop the same size as the smallest 14″ units.
Speed is good - but it really needs the 4gb ram to fly.
