Panasonic just announced that its 1080p Plasma HDTV will lay for 100,000 hours before reaching half brightness, Panasonic also rates their current line of 720p Plasma HDTV to play for 60,000 hours befor reaching half brightness. The new line of 1080p Plasma HDTV will play for more than 42 years before they reaching half of their origianl brightness level. The Plasma HDTV is available in different sizes, only the 42-inch is on the market toda but the rest will be available in September this year.
