NEC has added its Versa product line with the latest multimedia notebook, NEC Versa P9110. It features a 17-inch widescreen LCD 1440×900 resolution with NEC’s Super Shine View (SSV) technology that provides wide-viewing angle and vivid high contrast image. It is powered by Intel Santa Rosa platform, which features Intel Core 2 Duo T5250/T7100/T7500 processor options, 2GB of RAM, max 250GB 5400rpm hard drive, Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT graphics card with up to 1.79GB Turbo cache, dual layer DVD burner, optional TV Tuner, 802.11 a/g wireless, 7.1-Ch high definition audio, 1.3 mega pixel webcam, and runs on Microsoft Vista OS.
The laptop also supports playback of 1080 HD video and boasts four surround sound speakers with a built-in subwoofer. The media notebook works perfectly with home media server due to softDMA for connecting home media network. So you’ll be able to stream video signals, music, or digital photos from the home media server wirelessly and enjoy it anywhere around the home premises.
