While the MD382iFTD from Egoman Technology has a design that resembles Samsung’s U600, it doesn’t actually come with phone features. What it does have, though is support for MTV-format videos, and MP3, WMA and DRM 10-equipped audio files with ID3 tags and LRC 0.2 lyric synchronization. JPGs and BMP images can be displayed as well.
The device comes with either a 2- or 1.8-inch TFT display, with a resolution of 176×220 or 128×160 pixels, respectively. Internal memory is up to 8GB, and expandable through a slot for microSD and TransFlash cards up to 2GB in capacity. FM radio (with recording) functionality is optional, while 3D surround effects and voice recording through ADPCM are standard. A mini USB 2.0 port is also built-in. Dimensions are 82×45×7.6mm and weight is 50g.
