Mitsubishi has just released a new 22-inch widescreen LCD display in the Japanese market, the Mitsubishi RDT222WM. If you are upgrading to a bigger monitor, this may be an option. It features 1680×1050 WSXGA+ resolution with 2000:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m2 brightness. Oh, there is also HDMI connectivity.

Available now in Japan for about $484.
