Hop-On Wireless from California is going to release a new entry level phone, coded HOP1883. This HOP1883 supports a tri-band 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM network, and the nice thing is it comes with the embedded SiRF Star III GPS receiver chip. Beside the basic communication feature, its lightweight and candy bar design also features 2.8-inch LCD display that supports 240×320 pixel resolution (QVGA), and also a 2-megapixel digital camera.
The HOP1883 is currently in production, which will be available in the market soon.
