Fujitsu is launching the new laptops based on the next-generation 45nm Intel Penryn processors, unser Fujitsu Siemens brand, the Amilo Xi 2550 and the Amilo Xi 2428. These new laptops are based on Santa Rosa platform, which Amilo Xi 2550 features Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 2.4GHz processor and ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400 128MB, while the Amilo Xi 2428 features Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 2.6GHz processor and NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS 256MB. Both comes with 2GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive, 15.4-inch WXGA 1280×800 pixel resolution display with BrilliantView technology, dual layer DVD burner, webcam, HDMI, and Vista Premium Edition.
Both Amilo Xi 2550 and Amilo Xi 2428 will retail from January 2008 with a starting price of $1,763.
