Lenovo has announced the launch of a new line of notebook and desktop PCs, the 17-inch widescreen design Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 notebook PC, targeted for users who desire a high level of performance for entertainment. It is distinctively designed with a smooth, blue, metallic finish, the notebook also comes equipped with halo lighting, accenting the top cover and backlit Lenovo logo. An integrated 1.3 megapixel camera combined with Lenovo’s VeriFace face recognition software can help control access to your notebook by recognizing when you are sitting at the keyboard. It can even lock the system if it determines you’ve stepped away! Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 notebook equipped with Intel Centrino processor technology, ATI graphics, WLAN connectivity, five speakers including a subwoofer as well as an optional Blu-ray DVD reader, the IdeaPad Y710 notebook caters to the entertainment enthusiast.

Lenova IdeaPad Y710 will be available initially at Tiger Direct for approximately $1,199.

Wow that is awesome, the new Lenovo Olympic edition looks very similar but I have not seen anywhere to purchase them.
