Panasonic is going to release its new lightweight SD camcorder ‘SDR-S7’ in Japan market, which weighs just 160g but is capable of recording MPEG2-format video in a 640 x 480 VGA resolution.
Storage comes exclusively via SD or SDHC cards allowing for up to 13 hours of video with a 16GB card. Featuring 10X optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD screen, the camcorder can record from standby mode in just 0.6 seconds after pressing the side-mounted record button. Battery life is rated at 70 minutes.
Coming in Black and Silver, the SDR-S7 will be available on 25th April for 44,800(JPY).
