Eizo, a Japanese company renowned for its quality LCDs, is set to release the FlexScan HD2452W.
What’s exciting about the new display is that it’s pitched at gamers, and has a 24-inch Full HD (WUXGA) screen with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 450Cd/m2 brightness.
This little wonder also features dual HDMI, DVI-D HDCP, D4-Video, S-Video, D-SUB, component port, as well as 24p true cinema mode.
This all-in-one device should please PS3, X360, and Wii owners who are also looking for a nice LCD. It can also be used with a PC and for watching Blu-Ray movies. The only disappointment is a response time of 16ms, which in gaming terms is the equivalent of racing a double decker bus around a track - anything over 6ms is just lame…
