eMachines launched a new line of computer desktops directed toward home users and students heading back to school come summer’s end. The new desktops feature Intel processors and the latest multimedia features.

The new machines include:

* T3656 – Intel Celeron processor, 1GB DDR2 memory, 160GB hard drive for US$299.99
* T5274 – Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor, 2GB DDR2 memory, 320GB SATA II hard drive for US$399.99
* W3653 – Intel Celeron Dual-Core processor, 1GB DDR2 memory, 320GB SATA II hard drive, and also includes a eMachines 17-inch LCD monitor for US$498.

All three new eMachines desktops feature a DVD-CD drive, a 15-1 digital media card reader, six USB ports, 6-channel HD audio speakers, and come preloaded with Microsoft’s Vista OS and Microsoft Works 9.0.
