Controlled LTE trials in a moving car were pretty much successful. The test was held in ‘everyday conditions’ in Germany. During the moving of the car with 42mph the testers achieved download speed of 170Mbps and upload speed of 50Mbps. According to Hamid Akhavan, head of T-Mobile, it will still be 2010 (at the very earliest) before any of its markets go live with LTE.
